MOTOR VEHICLE ADVERTISING SPACE

1. Two vehicles with advertising space.

a. Toyota Condor, which is primarily used as staff transport, but also for mail, banking and light delivery and collection trips. It has 2 regular return weekday daily journeys to the South African National Blood Transfusion Service in Pinetown and back to the Saint Giles offices in Point near Ushaka Marine World. This journey is for staff transport.

It then does post and banking trips on a daily basis in the Durban City area. The light delivery or collection trips are not regularly to the same destinations. It depends on the demand for donations to be collected and other light goods to be delivered or collected for our Work Centre.

b. Hyundai H100 light delivery vehicle, which is primarily used for donation collections, mostly in the residential suburbs of Durban. Normally north as far as Ballito and inland to Kloof. Out almost every day doing this type of duty. In addition, used to collect materials from some customers for work to be done in our Work Centre, and then delivery back to the customers on completion of the work. There is at least one regular return trip for this purpose each week to the Pinetown / New Germany area.

2. Creating an Association
We are seeking to establish an association with one company by selling them advertising space on both these vehicles. We would want this association to go beyond the advertising. We would welcome giving the staff of the advertising company a tour of our facilities and continue a link with them by means of our quarterly newsletter and possibly further tours of the premises for new staff.
We are looking to heighten our exposure to the public.

3. Advertising Plan
We have been advised that a fair rate for advertising on each vehicle would be R1000-00 per month per vehicle. The advertiser would be responsible for cost of the design and installation of the vinyl wrap. The advertising contract would be for a period of 12 months, renewable at the end of each period for another 12 months. The advertiser would be responsible for the cost of the removal of the vinyl wrap and restoring the vehicle to its original condition should the advertising contract not be renewed. The estimated cost of this removal and restoration would be payable in the first month of the contract and this value rolled over into a consecutive renewal of the contract, with an agreed additional amount being payable to cover any increase in removal cost.

4. Use of Funds
Generally any funds we receive are used for the running costs of the organisation. This advertising revenue would be primarily used for the upkeep and maintenance of the two vehicles
